Midwest All-Stars Inc 2011 mission is to have a positive impact on our community through good health, education and positive Roll Model Standards.

One of our goals is to provide roller skates through our Dare 2 Share Program to underprivileged children in the Metro Milwaukee area.  For youth who desire to
skate but are unable to purchase them, we give a personal pair of
roller skates that has been donated to Dare 2 Share

How did you get involved in skating?  I was invited to Jimmy Lipsey’s roller skating birthday party.
Favorite rink?  Cascade (Atlanta, GA)
Skating goal?  My goals areto be involved in skate for the rest of my life and to make my own mark on the skating world like Mr. Bill Butler.
Favorite roller skating technique?  Couple skating
Worst skating experience?  My worst skating moment is when they closed the Palace back in the 80s.

Kim Possible

Skating experience?  30 years
How did you get involved in skating?  My Father
Favorite rink?  Crystal Palace (Memphis, TN)
Skating goal?  To skate for the rest of my life.
Favorite roller skating technique?  I love spinning and big wheeling.
Worst skating experience?  When the Palace skating rink in Milwaukee closed its door for good in 1980s

40 yrs.

How did you get involved in roller skating? I first got started skating with my brother, on his skate board and then I move up to roller skates.

What is your skating goal? To bring a certain flair & style to skating with the new Midwest All-Stars clothing line.


What is your favorite technique? I’m a true skater; I love all styles of skating. I have skated for over 40years and have learned a lot, but I’m also willing to learn more.

What was your worst skating experience? While I was skating backward a certain person (I won’t` mention name) fell on the floor, then I fell over them ruin my hip& shoulder. I’m cool now thank GOD!!!!

Name: Maurice Robinson (Mr. October)

Skate Experience:” Rookie” I skated all the time back in high School in Racine but I am still a rookie in my mind.
How did you get involved in skating? I met Gregory Allen & his amazing skating family and they talk so positive about skating & Midwest All-Stars I had to take my twins and see for myself.
Favorite Rink: MLK center in Chicago Illinois on 76th & Racine st.
Skate Goals:  To go to national skate party in another state & truly learn how to skate well enough to skate with the Big Dogs. (Big wheel, Crazy leg & Couples)
Favorite Techniques: Crazy Legs, Backward & Couples
Worst Skate Experience: Putting on those brown rental skate the first time.

Suga

Name: Patricia Fifer

Skate Experience: 25 years of skating.

How did you get involved in skating? I was young and looking for somewhere to go and have fun, meet people & not get in any trouble & skating was answer.
Favorite Rink:  The Palace

Worst Skate Experience: When I missed an all-night skate when I was a child.

How did you get involved in skating?  I just happened to be hanging out with friends who skated and I developed a love for skating.
Favorite rink?  Butler Skateland
Skating goal?  Just to perfect skating!
Favorite roller skating technique?  I love inside stuff…spinning, crazy leg, etc.

Skate Experience: I 1st started skating when I was a shorty up to my teens, but I been back for the last five years
How did you get involved in skating? My daughter Squeak brought me back to skating.
Favorite Rink: The Palace
Skate Goals:  My goal is to be well rounded in all aspect of skating.
Favorite Techniques: That Old school swag.
Worst Skate Experience: Always being the last one to get the new routine.

How did you get involved in skating?  I used to go to the Palace Skating Rink as an after school program.
Favorite rink?  The Rink on 87th Street (Chicago, IL)
Skating goal?  My goal is to work with the Midwest All Stars helping to unite skaters worldwide.
Favorite roller skating technique?  JB, backward, speed, and rail riding!
Worst skating experience?  My worst skating moment is when I was rail riding and a skater in front of me fell.  I tried to jump over him but I trip and flew into the wall.  All the lights came on and Gregory Allen blew his whistle and said, “Are you ok?”…then he kept going!
